Membership

The Caley is always looking to welcome new members and guests to the clubhouse, so that the club can continue to provide a good social mix and offer new services. The membership of the club can be divided into the following sub-sections: the men's section, the ladies' section, the junior section and associate members.

Annual subscriptions fall in March and are payable by the 1st of April. Membership categories and fees can be obtained by contacting the club manager.

There is no enrolment fee for joining the Caley, and anyone joining midway through the year will pay pro-rata.

At present there is no waiting list to join the Caley, so applications for membership are generally processed within 4 weeks. Each prospective member is invited to attend an interview with the Club Captain and Vice-captain, though this is merely a traditional courtesy performed by most golf clubs. Although you don't need to live in Carnoustie to join the Caley, you do need to stay in Angus to get a season ticket for Carnoustie Links. If you are interested in joining the club as an associate member, visit the Associate Membership page.

To join the Caley you need to have a proposer and a seconder who are both members of the club, in order to process your application. There is further information about joining the Caley listed in the FAQs section, while an application form can be printed out at the Application form page or downloaded in Word format. If the information you are looking for is not listed on the website, then please contact the club secretary.

Junior Section
We have a small - but thriving - Junior Section within the club, which over the years has produced many excellent players.

Currently, our squad includes:

As a progressive club, we are keen to forge links with junior golfers worldwide. Contact can be made via the website for the attention of Junior Convenor, Ron Tickle. Further information regarding the junior golfing scene in Carnoustie can be viewed at the Carnoustie Links Management website.
